Company History

Our company was founded in 1955 by my father, Claude Lessig. Lessig was originally a plumbing, heating and cooling company before heating oil was added to the business. I joined the business in 1975, and we continued to grow through several acquisitions, thanks to a lot of hard work from our dedicated team of employees. In 2001 we added propane to our list of fuel products. Today we are proud to sell kerosene, home heating oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, propane, and are very active in the HVAC field.

Service Area

Lessig Oil & Propane operates from two locations — in Wind Gap, PA and Slatington, PA — and we employ 40 people full-time. Today we serve customers throughout a five-county area in eastern PA and western NJ, including the counties of Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe in PA and Warren County in NJ. We are proud that for over 55 years Lessig Oil & Propane has remained a local, family owned and operated business.
